WeekLY sketches
Draw anything, but it must show 4 different aspects/views of the item. Use a variety of values from your whitest whites to your blackest blacks
a human with very exaggerated facial features. (Ex: Large nose, cat like eyes, big ear, etc.)
Sketches are due 8/26 and you need to fill up the whole page.
Week 1 of 8/8:
Draw something that shows form.
Create a new type of table. What does it do? What is it for?

Create your dream room in one-point perspective.
Draw the face for three different expressions (emotions).

Create your own super hero. Give them a name and powers.
Draw your favorite food using shading correctly.

Week 4: 8/29
Draw something you see around and give it special emphasis from its surroundings.
Update your blog with sketches done so far and what you have done on your first project.
Week 5 : 9/6
Draw a composition which uses the rule of thirds.
Create a new kind of bug.
Week 6: 9/12
Create something that has interesting negative space.
Draw a human with very exaggerated facial features.
(Ex: Large nose, cat like eyes, big ear, etc.)
Week 7: 9/19
Draw something that you think should be created into existence. What is its purpose? Who will it help?
Draw a person using simple shapes.
TURN IN YOUR SKETCHBOOK ON THE BLACK RACK IN CLASS!
Week 8: Catch-up your blogs.
You should have 8 sketches posted and 2 projects posted.
Week 9: 10/10
Sketch something in the room from observation that catches your eye. Your object(s) that you choose must have a pattern or texture of some kind.
Create a robot that you feel would help you daily with simple tasks. Express visually HOW the robot would help you.
Week 10: 10/17
Arrange 3 small/medium objects at a table to sketch!
Create a creature that combines at least two animals parts and at least 1 mechanical part.
Week 11: 10/24
Draw anything, but it must show 4 different aspects/views of the item. Use a variety of values from your whitest whites to your blackest blacks.
Create you idea of paradise.

If you could make anything in the world happen, what would it be? Draw what the world would look like if that happened.
Draw something from observation and show a wide range of values.

Create a machine. What does it do? Explain.

Draw something that utilizes the principle of emphasis.
Create your dream vacation.

Draw your favorite animal.
Create a mythical creature. Add designs to your creature and neatly color.
